For years gamers  have asked the one question that has not been answered.

“Why are there no AAA game development companies in Ohio?

Krakken Lore Studios Ltd (KLS Ltd.) has realized the need to have such  a company here. Ohio has a rich history in America. We have great  schools with the best teachers that teach great programs. Yet, year  after  year, we have to watch out graduates go to other states to find a career that fits their area of expertise.

Currently, KLS LTD management team is working on obtaining a site in Ohio for  a AAA game development studio.  During this period we have decided to begin the basic screening process for the Core Group of the studio.  As you may or may not know this group consists of the Creative Director, Lead Programmer, Art Director and several others. After the Core Group is chosen then those leads will sit down with the President of KLS Ltd. and each lead will play a hand in the hiring of the employees directly under their care and in their department. These will be the employees that the leads feel will be a good fit to the KLS Ltd. development team.

Before we get into job descriptions here is a bit about the company.

Krakken Lore Studios Ltd. is built on the belief that everyone has the opportunity to succeed. There are many companies that require 3 plus years of experience and one shipped game title but offer no advice on how to gain that experience. KLS Ltd. is looking for talented, skilled individuals with a drive and passion to play and develop games. Krakken Lore Studios Ltd. will be focusing on console games with 4 original IPs already in the conceptual stages.   There will be a separate division of KLS Ltd. called 1 MH Games ( www.1mhgames.com )  that will focus on downloadable arcade style games for both the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network and the ever expanding cell phone market. This division already has 2 original IPs in the conceptual stages. Based on the sales and demand of these games they will be ported for the PC or consoles.
